(14,180 posts)Typically youd see a party slowly backing away from somebody like that, but if the GOP wants to self-destruct, fine by me.

(54,725 posts)1) He announced a "big announcement" Tuesday, November 15, 2022. He doesn't build up an event like that only for it to be a nothing-burger. (though of course he does announce some nothing-burgers like his plane got fixed up)
2) He needs the grift.
3) He needs to win 2024 in hopes of staying out of prison.

(3,996 posts)And I hope he and DeSatan eat each other and whats left of their fascist base alive while they do it. Theyre going to have to go so far right to win the primary a pivot back to the middle will be impossible. Then even more moderate Republicans will vote Democrat or not vote at all because their nominee will be just too extreme.

He will soon find out he is wrong and the Repug party has cut off his legal fee payments.
