(28,835 posts)The GOP changed the rules to protect Trump, and they made it nearly impossible to replace him as the nominee.
I'd rather it be Trump. Losing to Kamala Harris would probably be the biggest humiliation of his entire life.

For the Republicans, some may even have passed, since some are expressly tied to the ending of the nominating convention (which has happened for Republicans, but not yet for Democrats). So in those states in which the Republican's deadline has passed, they will additionally be subject to whatever restrictions there are on the party subsequently changing its nominee.
And, just like Democrats - Republicans are free to choose their candidate by whatever means comply with their nominating rules.

(11,023 posts)If they dump Vance, and get Halley back on her knees, for her delegates and voters turning to Kamala. He has really turned some of those GQP women away. (Not that bright of women trump humping in the first place)
