If Harris announced she would implement an arms embargo on Israel, would that change your vote?

Or would it change the votes of friends and family who have said they will vote for Harris?

1. I think she is smart not to make promises like that. Situation in Israel is way too volatile

…it would have absolutely no impact on my supporting Harris. Zero, zip nada.

For us to have any positive impact in the world we have to be a democracy and there’s only one path to that.

We can argue the pros and cons of an embargo with her when she’s in the Oval Office.

in Michigan and other states whose vote would be affected by the opposite course.

It would be a risky, unpredictable move which VP Harris won't do, in addition to the media jumping all over her why she is now changing her position on this.

extrapolated to the entire country or even among all Democrats.

I suspect the only demographic that would be influenced by this would be essentially the one-issue voters. Specifically those whose only issue is the Israeli/Palestinian issue.

Implementing an arms embargo on Israel would only change the voters who view the Israeli Palestinian issue as paramount,
and that sword would cut on both sides of the blade.

There is a reason why VP Harris is NOT calling for an arms embargo on Israel

However in the spirit of compromise, I read yesterday the President of Iran said his country did not want a war with Israel. If he were to state Iran will implement an arms embargo on Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis, Palestinian Islamic Jihad I will reconsider my position.
