Sobering thought:

Depending on how serious you think they are, do you think this site is being mined for our personal info/tfg’s personal enemies list?

I don’t want paranoia to rule my life, but in light of what I think is to come, I’m a little freaked out.

3. No. If they are mining this site, they've got drones over our houses, etc. Besides, will take my chances.

What can they get? Your IP address (unless you use a VPN), which I figure is all over the place already.

Also, I don't think we're viewed as dangerous to them. I think they think we're dumb. This is based on what they say about us on their sites that are counterparts of ours.

7. This place is self policed to be about as benign as a political forum can be.

6. Possibly but it is almost certainly long too late to worry about it

The level of access even going back years has got to be absolute to the unscrupulous.

It went to the bone a bit when he was talking about going after donors and I figure they certainly can get Act Blue records so it is whatever it is so we may as well be loud and proud now.

Safety is always an illusion anyway. Our world is hardly an atom in an infinite sea, just a little speck of dust we perceive as eternal and immense that can be blown away at anytime.

8. I do... anyone that knows me could easily identify

me by name. What I post hear about my background, my work history, my areas of expertise... all would point to just one name.

I am getting my passport and headed to parts unknown. Paranoid? Possibly. But I am like the Jews of the early 1930s Germany... lets not hang around and find out the trains they want us to get on are not headed to the border or a nice vacation someplace.

9. We matter to him only to the extent that we react and give him attention.

My impression -- an impression formed with no direct knowledge -- is that he only concerns himself with (in no particular rank order):

#1 Groups, segments of society, or individuals he perceives as desirable or powerful that he wants to be part of or gain the approval of.

#2 Groups or individuals he perceives as "marks" he can exploit.

#3 Judicial or public officials who have power over him and exercise it in a way he doesn't like.

#4 Judicial or public officials he can bend to his will.

#5 People who block him from getting something he wants (whether gaining approval or acceptance of #1, exploiting #2, or subverting #3, or controlling #4 )

Unless you fall into category #5 or otherwise did something like spread an infamous meme that humiliated him in the eyes of #1 or caused the failure of a scheme to exploit #2, you are ok.

He cares about the noise we make only to the extent that any attention he gets from "the masses," negative or positive, serves his playbook.
