Trump sentencing delayed: e-mail Judge Merchan, DA Bragg, counsel Colangelo to urge justice

As noted at The Hill, "Judge delays Trump immunity decision in NY hush money case", https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/4985765-trump-immunity-hush-money/ , as DU's breaking news has noted.

"A New York judge delayed a Tuesday decision on whether President-elect Trump’s conviction can withstand the Supreme Court’s presidential immunity ruling, following his election victory last week. [ ] Judge Juan Merchan agreed to freeze the case until Nov. 19, newly public court records show, enabling prosecutors to respond to Trump’s demand the case be dismissed entirely now that he is president-elect. [etc.]"

If you think that maybe the case shouldn't be dismissed, and that Trump should receive the maximum 4-year jail sentence (if only after Trump's presidency), or whatever you think, these e-mail addresses may work, to contact Judge Juan Merchan, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, and Bragg's assistant/counsel Matthew Colangelo, to counsel courage, not being intimidated by Trump, and not putting Trump above the law,

jmerchan@nycourts.gov

bragga@dany.nyc.gov

colangelom@dany.nyc.gov

Not guaranteeing the addresses are accurate, but they may well be. Too, these may be working paper-mail addresses, if you want to send a letter (priority mail may be advisable):

The Honorable Juan Merchan
Supreme Court of the State of New York
County of New York: Part 59
100 Centre Street New York, NY 10013

New York County District Attorney’s Office
One Hogan Place, New York, NY 10013

Obviously, I'd avoid foul language, threats, etc. in your communications. Not that you would've, but just saying. Sounding reasonable and appealing to the rule of law, fairness, etc., may be better ideas.

Finally, feel free to write a reply to this post so that it will stay up for several days; not for me, but for the cause.
Thanks. God bless America.

https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/25289004-merchan-stay-decision for copies of original court documents.

Too, I see this phone number for Merchan's courtroom, 646-386-4059, if you want to leave a message for him.

And this number for Bragg's main office (not his personal one), 212.335.9000.

Again, no guarantees of accuracy, so do your own research if you like. Thanks again.

What is the sarcasm for? You're assuming that no effort will make any difference? Or from the other end, that you think the delay is pathetic, but we can still make a difference?

Heh heh!

I was curious what you thought, since you are a worthy poster. And I think it could make a difference! Doesn't hurt to try...

I don't know if it'll work, but at least it may persuade jail time, period (maybe 4 years and 2 months from now). Thanks!!
