I simply will not give up my highest appreciation for MSNBC.

Through the last six to eight years it has been my happy place next to DU. I can find little fault with most of the hosts save one or two daytime folks. I always learn something from most of them. As far as I can tell, and this is my opinion, they are smart, fair, knowledgeable, honest, fierce defenders of our Constitution and Democratic ideals and ideas. The only reason I can't watch them right now is that I just am not over the outcome of this election and the truth of it is still painful. They must continue to do their fantastic jobs, this I understand. But I need a break. I will be back listening to them all by Sunday when I feel that I am over the crushed hopes of a Dem victory. I continue to follow the news here where I don't have to hear it speak to my frenzied brain or see orange or orange-ish.

I hope we do not hurt their standing by anything we say or do here. To me, MSNBC is the best of the cable news shows. That is why Trump will be going after all of them.

Stay the course.

I've been delving into "American Experience" on YouTube wherever I can find one. Watching this now:

Even FOX's viewership is aging out.

Dems are going to have to go hard with alternate mechanisms to get unbiased news out there. I am old enough to remember the Air America Radio experiment--which I truly loved and supported with time, $$, and effort. But against the Limbaugh and other RW juggernaut, there was just no way... But we have to find influential podcasts, streaming radio shows, and online real-time mechanisms to get younger voters.

Hopefully, there will still be a place for cable and TV news programs, but we have to find a way to branch out. When a significant number of voters didn't know when the election was, who was running, or that Biden had dropped out--much less anything other than propaganda about Trump and all the lies about Harris, we have a BIG problem.

I also don’t give child rape supporters my money. Which they will use to hurt people.
