(36,086 posts)Whatever unions think of her, a lot of (R) think she's too supportive of unions.

(1,821 posts)Probably the least MAGA appointee yet. Seems more like a traditional Republican.
However, she doesn't have any much experience or qualifications that I can see. Served just one term in Congress. No other government experience but did run (and lose) several other elections including her Congressional re-election bid this year.

(921 posts)...and his gap has been closing all week. Just a small amount of votes remain to be counted though. The Rapists may just wind up with a 2-vote majority before any of them leave for Cabinet posts, so you could be right.

(1,503 posts)This almost feels like a concession to his labor support. I don't know much about her personally but just from her policy positions, I wouldn't be surprised if she got a lot of Dem support. I mean someone that isn't outright hostile to labor as Sec of Labor in a republican administration? It's going to be a long 4 years if dems can't take that as a win.

(24,674 posts)All the super-shitty early nominations have done their work. Now the just-kinda-shitty nominations seem like a fucking relief. We Americans are a Stupid people -- far from the only ones, but we are known as renowned pioneers of new territories in Stupidland. And con-men love to take advantage of Stupids. And whaddaya know, TSF just happens to be the greatest con-man in history.
