Mace sells merchandise off transgender bathroom bill
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) is using publicity from her legislation to prevent transgender women from using womens restroom facilities in federal buildings to sell merchandise to her followers on the social platform X.
Mace in a post on X is advertising T-shirts for $35.
The post shows a photo of Mace next to T-shirts with the words come and take it below a picture of a womens bathroom sign. On the back it reads Mace for Congress.

Earlier this week, the lawmaker said she received death threats for proposing that transgender women use single-sex facilities that correspond to their gender identity in the Capitol.
She suggested the building enforce a ban as Rep.-elect Sarah McBride (D-Del.) became the first transgender woman elected to Congress in November and prepares for her tenure in the House in January.
