Are we going to get to read the Smith Report?

What is the rationale for not releasing it?

Do they want to work in a bi-partisan fashion and are fearful the release of the report would be seen as too partisan and not good for politics or our country?

Are they afraid of the revenge that might be released upon them?

Do they believe that nothing good can come from the release of the Report?

Is it no longer important?

What other part of history can we revise today?

3. It should be released, but it won't make much difference politically.

The voters have moved on. The information was rewritten to show that Trump's actions were not official acts.

4. The appeals court has said the J6 report can be released. Garland still refuses to do so even after saying he would.

He has become an expert in delaying until the matter is taken out of his hands, as the House J6 Committee did with their collection of evidence and public hearings. In a matter of days, it will be too late and all reports and evidence will be destroyed. Trump wins, citizens and history lose.

Hope I’m wrong.

Biden and Garland are old school institutionalists. All the i’s dotted and T’s crossed means they’re going to run out of time to release it since SCOTUS will delay any ruling on it and those two won’t circumvent protocol and put it out there.

All of the evidence will be destroyed and the Nauta/DeOliviera cases will be dropped on 1/21 and that will be that.

Jack Smith is a young guy who presumably wants a career somewhere so don’t count on him going rogue and releasing a copy either (that presumes he keeps a copy for himself). Tbh, I hope he’s out of the country by 1/20 (maybe back working at The Hague). I believe Traitor and his goons will come after him hard

If Cannon extends or revises her injunction, the only way the reports will get released is if Biden releases them himself as an official act.

The party and Biden wanted him in position to do what he did. Keep trump in play so Biden could beat the “I’m the only one who beat trump” drum until the election, while “nothing fundamentally changes”.

I think this is self evident when your identity isn’t married to protecting and loving politicians whom you don’t know and don’t know or love you. It was a doomed strategy that failed epically. Even those excoriating garland can’t bring themselves to blame his boss.
