It's mind blowing watching American politicians, lawyers, media hacks and

Some citizens making excuses for the incoming autocratic kakistocracy and chatting shit that the people voted for him while continuing to condemn other autocrats.
It’s almost comical. Shit is shit.
That is all

2. I totally agree it's mind blowing. I guess that's why it's just too hard to stop taking it all in, too hard to cut the

cord. too hard to look away. too hard to focus on doing things we use to do, we used to create, the things that gave us a little joy and satisfaction. Stuff that made us feel good about ourselves and others we shared with.

I'm old as dirt and can remember focusing on a bunch of different aspects of daily life, including tuning into the "news" to stay current and informed, while still doing other things totally unrelated.
I'm denying the little bit of profit these corrupted maggat media thugs trafficking in poppycock and horseshit and calling it chocolate pudding pie.
When I'm feeling a little masochistic I'll read LBN headlines on DU.
I just skim the headlines most of the time, don't need to know the deets to get that we're so fucked.
Looking forward to the new forums when those get set up here.
I'm really glad I can still play my instruments, and jam with others who are in the same head space as I am. Our motto is to make music while we still can, until we drop dead. But make sure we all have our passports at hand, in the go bag.

so long ago to me now. I feel like it's best to be aware, but only in a meta way, deets are overwhelming and unnecessary.

In other words, we know where all of this is going, make plans like it's anyway you can to survive but do things that make you mentally and emotionally happy while you still can .

Most importantly, don't watch it play out on TV.

The sanewashing press had done its job. The no-character folks be like, "thanks, we got it from here"
Way I see it, msm press got the fear, it helped make hacks out of folks fearing for their jobs, and so now they're all about the "access." Thing is, though -- they all don't just sanewash more, they now give momentum to the destruction.

OTOH, people looking like sellouts might just be spies; I'll be watching.
