Why are they doing the tariff thing?

I don't get it......... nothing good will come of it. drumpf is too stupid to know that but surely all his billionaire handlers like Musk know this and don't want him wrecking the economy they are profiting off. Why are they insisting on letting drumpf do this instead of putting on some cartoons to watch so he'll forget about it?

Just wait until he starts commingling it with the U.S. Treasury money, which he plans to beef up with, the money he will amass with tariffs.

He's on video smiling & saying that tariffs can "make a lot of money."

The American people can kiss that money goodbye.

He can now take crypto bribes, untraceable, then mix that with the tariff money and seamlessly rob the Treasury.

Tariffs do indeed, make lots of money. Unfortunately, it will be at our expense. Literally.

Was a vehicle that was created for legal bribes to land in Trump's lap. Literally billions in said bribes dropped over the weekend.

He can rug pull the $$$ out at his leisure. He is on paper now richer than he ever was.

Thanks for mentioning this littlemissmartypants...

When I saw that video of him smiling and saying, "Tariffs make a lot of money." I got chills. How often have we seen him smile? Not very often, and when he has smiled, it's always been an indication of something evil on the horizon.

That's when I started reading everything I could find about how tariffs work and they are huge money makers for government treasuries. He and his sycophants plan to rob the US Treasury, and that's why he was smiling.

He's not a benevolent and altruistic man. That's why I know he's never going to do anything but cause pain for others, everyone, even himself.

That's especially true because he's a psychopath. They are so twisted for them to love is to hurt. They flip everything upside down when it comes to behavior and meaning.

It's very difficult for those of us who aren't psychopaths/sociopaths to wrap our minds around. The behavior is so evil and counterintuitive. I describe it as every day being opposite day.

We aren't taking him seriously enough when it comes to his psychological problems. We should all be terrified, but I'm afraid that we're just becoming numb because it's all almost too hard to believe.

The only good news is that sometimes psychopaths can become so delusional that they self-destruct. He did manage some self sabotage last time in a few instances. So, I'm hoping for more of that, and I believe we'll see it.

Thanks for your reply, JCMach1.

Stems from me bumping into him and his entourage in the Houston Airport ca. 1994. I have never seen anyone in such a public place berate an employee and curse in such a toxic manner.

Even if he was a Dem (probably was at that time), I would have never ever condoned voting for such a toxic human being.

The people I tell my story to I always tell them imagine what he is like and now take it to about the 10th power negative and horrific.

brushes with greatness stories! I've had a couple myself.

In your case that greatness needs a caveat or quotation marks at the very least.

Does surprise me one bit.

up by himself either. I can see alot of hands in this pot. Trump doesn't have the mental capability to come up with this stuff. Hell, he couldn't even answer debate questions.

Musk is a drug addled sociopath. Suckerberg looked frightened today. Bezos didn't look much better.

other countries will replace the revenue collected from federal income taxes, if not supplant it.

Speculation on my part, but I believe the "tariff money" won't find its way into the Federal Treasury and that Trump will find a way of directing it to his private bank account.
