It's early yet, but I wonder what's going on out there with possible Blue-State coalitions.

Here in NY, I'd definitely pony up some extra tax $$$ to support, say, a DE/NJ/NY/CT/MA et al regional CDC.

Maybe we could hire Fauci.

Pretty much a done deal that anything the states do will piss off the Fragile Fascist. Girard442 Jan 22 #2
Do not expect the Blue states to reveal what they will be doing. They are too smart for that. Jit423 Jan 22 #3
You could add Maryland to that Northeast coalition right now Best_man23 Jan 22 #4

Here in AZ we have a Dem governor and two Dem senators. But governor Hobbs holds her cards close to her chest. I would love for Arizona to enter some kind of alliance with our neighboring blue states but I don't know if it is realistic given our red legislature.

The other factor is we also need firefighting funds, and part of the calculus might be that we endanger those funds if we enter into an alliance with California.

But I would love to know what is going through the mind of Katie Hobbs!

Just watch the chips fall. A lot of decent, popular people have been hurt withing 36 hours. Some of them have loyal ties within the communities they served. Loyalty through fear is much weaker than loyalty through conscience.

And potentially Virginia, if we're able to get Abigail Spanburger into the Governor's office this November along with getting rid of the Convicted Felon lover we have in the AG's office, and keeping the legislature blue.
