he didn't make my rankings at all. But, yes, I voted for him in the general election over Curtis Sliwa.

I see people saying Maya Wiley was the better candidate, but I think the better candidate was actually Kathryn Garcia, who came in second place. We will never know. But she was an efficient head of the sanitation department, wasn't into demagoguery, was more moderate than Wiley (which was more palatable to the voting population in the moment. Adams won bc of increasing public crime... on subways and on the streets.).
