I think the thing that irritates me most about Trump is...

I thought I had rid my life of drama queens, know-it-alls, and attention whores. Not worth having any of those arround. Toxic and exhausting.

We have all three wrapped up in the current President.

I don't need to be force fed at EVERY...DAMN...TURN... Trump's "thoughts" about every little thing. As if he is the only one who can figure things out.

Man, is it going to be a long four years.

Most ex-presidents step off the national stage but not Trump. He was front & center & got more airtime than Biden did. This egomaniac has been in our living rooms non-stop for ten years!!

I retired in 2012 and this asshole has shit on
Most of it all.
One thing about retirement, without trump was times was racing past at blinding speed.
With Trump, and even during Biden’s 4 years the blob was even more in our face, time crawls like a slug through a jar of old honey.
But every minute is with hate and fear of him taking away every damn thing you have you worked a lifetime to accomplish. He has those tiny hands in every damn pocket and wants every damn cent of ours. All never putting in an hours worth of work.
Stealing it all while fucking golfing. Nice gig when you get enough idiots to hand it to you.

We're setting sail
To the place on the map
From which no one has ever returned
Drawn by the promise of the joker and the fool
By the light of the crosses that burn
Drawn by the promise of the women and the lace
And the gold and the cotton and pearls
It's the place where they keep all the darkness you need
You sail away from the light of the world
On this trip, baby

You will pay tomorrow
You're gonna pay tomorrow, yeah
You will pay tomorrow

Save me
Save me from tomorrow
I don't want to sail with this ship of fools, no, no, no
Oh, save me
Save me from tomorrow
I don't want to sail with this ship of fools, no, no, no

I want to run and hide
Right now

Avarice and greed
Are gonna drive you over the endless sea
They will leave you drifting in the shallows
Or drowning in the oceans of history
Traveling the world, you're in search of no good
But I'm sure you'll build your Sodom, like you knew you would
Using all the good people for your galley slaves
As your little boat struggles through the warning waves

But you don't pay
You will pay tomorrow

I essentially banished someone from my life who had been to varying degrees a toxic person; even though they had some good qualities, their bad ones (false accusations and attempts to control without success, almost every aspect of my personal life), taking it even to the point of persuading me to get rid of my created family. And here comes Trump! These narcissists get an adrenaline rush out of hurting other people and manipulating them. Like herpes, he never seems to go away, leaving devastation. But he will have his end, because all dictators have their end. None go on forever and we good people will prevail.

With another thought…that would not let him be a ‘hero’, but rather tarnish his legacy. Being able to make him their ‘golden god’ keeping the base rallied and not have him around somehow could be more desired.
No idea how to do that.
