The series based on Philip K. Dick's dystopian novel of the same name premiered in January 2015, some six months before Donald Trump rode down the golden escalator and sprayed crypto-fascist rhetoric across the assembly. As the nation cozied up to the oncoming authoritarian regime, I began to reference the series about an America wherein the Axis powers won World War II to more and more folks I knew.
Ironic that the platform for the series was the product of a man who in a decade's time would capitulate to the oncoming fascist forces.

I enjoyed the first season, but theyd given notice that they werent going to wrap it up. Done getting into shows (Deadwood anyone?) that they just walk away from for no good reason. Never cracked season 2.
