John McCain Slams Anti-Henry Kissinger Protester As 'Low-Life Scum'

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) called out a protester rallying against former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger at an Armed Services Committee hearing on Thursday, calling him "low-life scum."

"Arrest Henry Kissinger for war crimes!" the protesters chanted while holding up signs. As the chanting went on, McCain could be heard summoning U.S. Capitol Police. In later remarks, he called the protest "disgraceful, and outrageous, and despicable."

"You're going to have to shut up, or I'm going to have you arrested," McCain said as a protester interrupted his remarks. "Get out of here, you low-life scum," McCain added as the protester was removed from the room.

McCain then apologized to Kissinger, who testified about global challenges to national security at the hearing.

war criminal. McCain has already served time for his crimes in Hanoi but Kissinger still walks freely. And Hillary pals around with Kissinger. Makes me want to

4. In my book, McCain's crimes did not end with his imprisonment.

Not only does Kissinger walk free, but he is powerful, rich and lionized, as are his disciples.

the Vietnamese Government had put McCain on trial while they had him in custody. He should have been made to answer more completely for his crime(s) against the Vietnamese people(s). But trying McCain without also trying Kissinger makes a mockery of the notion of justice.

Oh well. That's why I'm a loony-fringe pie-in-the-sky Democratic Socialist.

11. Got you. War mongering isn't ciurrently a crime, although perhaps it should be. But McCain

has plenty otherwise for which to answer. For him to be calling anyone a 'low life scum' takes some real chutzpah, imo.

8. You take a very narrow and parochial view of what it means

to 'accomplish' something.

Think of it as those hecklers are throwing a stone into a pond. Neither they, you nor I have any idea where the ripples from that stone hitting the pond's surface will wind up.

I'm not attacking you, merely pointing out that I'm sure similar things were said about the lunch counter sit-ins 60-some years ago or the Women's Suffragette movement 100-some years ago.

Re-read T.S. Eliot's Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock:

And indeed there will be time
To wonder, “Do I dare?” and, “Do I dare?”
Time to turn back and descend the stair,
With a bald spot in the middle of my hair —
(They will say: “How his hair is growing thin!”)
My morning coat, my collar mounting firmly to the chin,
My necktie rich and modest, but asserted by a simple pin —
(They will say: “But how his arms and legs are thin!”)
Do I dare
Disturb the universe?

In a minute there is time
For decisions and revisions which a minute will reverse.

Henry Kissinger is wanted for war crimes in Indochina, Bangladesh, Chile, Cyprus and East Timor. The fact that John McScum would defend a known war criminal, says just as much about him as the fucking mass murderer he is defending.

FUCK HENRY, I hope his very last days on earth are spent in a prison in some foreign land.

Rot in hell both of you!
