Can we stop with the "OMG this latest {whatever} will bring them down"?

Right now the law only applies to Republicans to the extent Republicans decide it does. Without someone to enforce them, laws are only words on a page.

If we are to bring these criminals down, we have to do it with political power.

Watergate was very much like this -- little bits and pieces of a very large, complex slowly being discovered. It went on for two years. It was probably the release of the secret tapes that was the final nail in the coffin, but even the existence of the tapes and evidence of all the other crimes took a very long time and a lot of work to investigate. So will this.

You may be right that these two stories breaking tonight (Obama admin making sure info didn't disappear and Sessions lied about contact with a Russian ambassador) aren't the tipping point. But every story adds to the weight bearing down on tRump and his minions. As surely as eggs taste good with bacon and toast, this story continues to make its way into the news. tRump has told too many conflicting stories about his relationship (or non-relationship) with Putin. It all depends on which day you interview him. Fortunately for us, his statements are on video for all to see and hear. tRump won't be happy with what came out tonight. Boo hoo...hate it for him.

Pop some corn. This is gonna get good. The sooner the better.

Sessions must go. Surrender Sessions!

can this really go on indefinitely - for another 4, 8, or more years? In spite of all that's happened, I really hope not for the sake of the entire planet, and I'm not intending to be melodramatic.

But I really don't know what it's gonna take. Could you imagine Mitt Romney saying "grab them by the pussy" or Barack Obama having 5 kids with 3 wives and still having a viable chance at the presidency? It's still unfathomable that it's even gotten this far. But here we are.

My prediction:
We have to wait for a video of a naked Trump jacking off to the pissing prostitutes. Hopefully this leads to his being hanged by his tiny hands for treason. Of course, we have no mechanism for a do-over election, but we'd be no worse off than we are now.

But we need to hammer away at EVERY scandal. Not because the Republicans will act - they won't - but it will be an issue next year in the midterms and we need to make sure everyone remembers. And then we need to hang it around the neck of every Republican who aided and abetted Trump.

Changed his story 4 times.Sessions is changing his-how many times now ? Panic is setting in. This is a huge deal.-this will put doubt in the minds of moderate Trump supporters .They will want answers.

and I think Republicans are hoping to drag this out at least as long, so they can get President Pence (shudder) for ten years as he serves out 2 of this term plus 8 of his own.

And no, they don't give a damn what he does to this country and the people who live here in those 2 years.

We've had enough hyperbole. Keep up the relentless pressure and vocal outrage (very easy with this bunch of cretins and liars). Keep pushing, ridiculing, calling out the lies. Keep up the barrage!

They will keep denying ducking dodging while their approval levels sink and their morale craters. Best we can hope for is to keep them in disarray long enough (2 years) to prevent the worst of their excesses.

Biggest danger is Brannon, imo. We need to target him and separate him from Trump.
