Related: About this forumBiden's choice for AG
Don't give up a governorship.
Still got my money on Doug Jones if/when he loses. (You can't say *right now* that you'd pick Jones bc he's on the ballot, but he's been down huge in every poll.)

OP
Might as well give it a try at first. Of course, a lot depends on how badly they are beaten.

and the moral compass for the job!

would go into total meltdown.

For the foreseeable future, we won't have progressive legislation without some support from a few GOPers.

(54,770 posts)5. Jones would be a great choice, among many. I think someone else will get AG, but Jones definitely
rates a position.

(572 posts)7. both are good
but Gov.Cuomo is more presidential than AG. He would be wise with Doug Jones or Sally Yates and put every civil servant Trump forced out to be reinstalled. My nerves are a wreck with all the cheating and threats ect going on.I won't rest until January.

(30,166 posts)10. Or Preet Bharara or Glenn Kirschner
Sally Yates would be incredible and schadenfreude would be Hillary Clinton.

(1,227 posts)11. Breet or Glenn are my picks
although I lean toward Glenn Kirschner for AG because as an Army prosecutor, he is tough and won't put up with the stalling nonsense typical of Repubs.
