I just got home from voting in the same church where I've voted since I lived here (2016). Turnout seemed about the same or maybe slightly higher than I remember it from 4 years ago, but nothing spectacular.
As I voted I remembered the talk about women being able to vote for Kamala without their husbands knowing..... well, not here. We filled out our paper ballots seated at a large table, anyone within 5 or 6 feet could easily see who you voted for. Is that even legal?

At the township hall we voted at security was over the top compared to any other election.
Poll workers were strictly maintaining even a 10 foot safe distance barrier from the walled off election tables. Even going to the tabulation machine they were very strict on keeping your ballot inside the security sleeve. Nobody could ever see the ballot.

One a different note, in this very, very red part of the state, it was gratifying to see NO trump signs outside the polling station...only Harris and Figures signs. Dozens and dozens of them.

(25,942 posts)actually I'm not sure where it should be reported. If my suggestions don't work for you - I hope somebody here that has more info - can point you in the right direction.
Be ready to tell them the location of that church.
That's just not right.
