1. It looks like it all depends on where Begich and Peltola voters' second choice went

If his second choice went to Peltola, I expect she wins. If hers went for Begich, I expect he wins.
I expect Palin's voters second choice would be Begich, but who knows...

2. Since Peltola and Palin are leading, I don't think their second choice matters yet

If the results stick, then Begich will be eliminated and his second choice votes will be distributed between Palin and Peltola. Whoever gets 50%+1 wins.

It may be reasonable to suggest that there may be at least close to enough votes to put the Democrat over. Palin may also be a limited second choice candidate, as well. If enough people didn't choose a second choice, that too will help the Democrat.
