It's almost Valentine's Day -- time to Spread the Love to all your friends on Democratic Underground! From now until February 15, we're doing our annual Valentine Hearts promotion. Purchase a DU Star Membership or renew your existing membership, and we'll give you Valentine hearts to share with your DU friends. For every dollar you spend, you'll get one Valentine heart.
Already a DU subscriber? You'll get some hearts to share -- we will send you a DU Mail message shortly with instructions.

And now, a quick word about primary season on DU...
While I've got your attention, many of you have been asking whether we're going to be opening up a separate forum for the Democratic presidential primaries, as we have in the past. The answer is yes. Once Valentine Hearts week is over, we'll be unveiling the new forum and our plans for primary season. The new forum isn't going to be quite the same as it has been in the past -- we are doing things a little differently this time around, and we hope you will like what we have in store. Soon after the fund drive is over, we will make an announcement explaining everything.

It seems I get my expiration notice several days before the hearts start and I end up making 2 donations. I don't mind too much but I'd rather NOT be without a star and also be able to give out lots of hearts. This year Grovelbot can get his money and I get my hearts too!

I paid for a Star Membership renewal earlier today and my membership still isn't updated (two more days to go). I didn't get my hearts either.
