Lindsey Graham Quickly Changes His Tune About Gaetz as AG

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) pleaded with fellow Republicans to back Donald Trumps choice as attorney general, Matt Gaetz, after initially sounding skeptical about the bombshell pick. Appearing on Fox News Hannity on Wednesday, Graham said: To every Republican, give Matt a chance.
His remark came amid a growing rebellion from GOP ranks over the surprise decision. Several Republican senators openly showed their disdain, saying it wasnt a serious appointment.
Graham told Sean Hannity: Im telling my Democratic friends, elections have consequences whether you like it or not. You are accusing Matt of doing the very thing that you did. Matt Gaetz didnt lie under oath, Matt Gaetz did not sign FISA warrants that were based on Russian disinformation, so were going to give the president a chance to put his people forward.
Earlier Wednesday, Graham was less certain about the choice. He was asked by CNNs Manu Raju what he thought about Gaetz being nominated as Trump pieced together his Cabinet following his 2024 presidential election victory. Graham replied: I dont know yet, Ill have to think about that one. Do you have any concerns about him? he was asked. Well see, Graham replied.

(9,955 posts)when Lindsey was extremely out spoken about Trump. So Trump invited him up to a round of golf at his club.
He returned to Carolina, and on Monday he began being Trumps best supporter actually defending Trump being impeached.......
My thoughts were that Putin had sent an 8x10 Color glossy of Lindsey to use in blackmailing him.
I wondered what could the photo have been???. Everyone knows he is a homosexual.......The only thing I could think of was exactly what you said, him photographed on Epstein's plane or one of his retreats, doing a male child. Not only would that have gotten him thrown out as a Senator, but probably would have led to criminal prosecution. Obviously, whatever it was frightened him.....
Putin had been grooming all kinds of up and coming people for decades, and had collected all kinds of kompromat on all of them for future use. I would love to see the 8x10 color glossies that he has on Trump......probably stuff involving Epstein's activities....

(16,504 posts)It has not been generally talked about the kink island about boys but some of the girls mentioned boys being on the island for those inclined that direction. And generally the younger the more money to be made for either sex.

(9,955 posts)if Epstein wasn't a Russian Agent......think of the kompromat on politicians and uber wealthy that he could provide Putin with.....

If all his stuff was released it would loose its effectiveness. It would be stale information. But like it is, it is very powerful.

(7,183 posts)--that's the rumor anyway, and it makes more sense than Epstein working for the Russians.
Don't underestimate Mossad. They're aggressive, shameless, and ruthless.

(15,110 posts)It got Gaetz to resign, thus avoiding damaging ethics report and Trump will now drop him. Gaetz will never be AG and he is gone. Repugs do not like him.

(27 posts)...than the case of Lindsay Graham? I can't even think of a fictional example that surpasses it. It's just so obvious. And those who have often suggested it is because he's afraid of being outed as gay? Well of course he's gay! That's not what the blackmail is about, as several of you have already alluded to in this post. It's something so serious, he is literally terrified of it coming out. And yes, he gets frequent reminders. You can see it on his face when he does.

And the idea that presidents should get whoever they want is false and unconstitutional.
The Constitution gives the president power to appoint and the Senate power to accept or reject.
Senators are supposed to use their own judgment to make sure America gets good and competent officials.
There is no hint in the Constitution that presidents are supposed to get whoever they want.
