5. California's fascist Republican farmers hate him.

They put up roadside signs vilifying Costa, along with Nancy Pelosi and Gavin Newsom.

These farmers oppose regulations that protects farm laborers, that keep our water clean, require the meat and dairy industries to treat their animals humanely, etc..

They also seem to think every drop of rain that falls on California belongs to them, and should be captured and delivered to them by the state and federal government at highly subsidized rates.
