Interestingly, he emigrated to Canada with his family and was working on bringing his mother over.

When he took over my team (we were all remote), our Friday meetings became a sort of team-building thing where everyone just BS'ed. It was interesting but once or twice, he asked me about TSF in admiring tones. I thought he might've been being deliberately provocative but I couldn't quite tell. And there were times that I realized I had misread him but I still shut that topic down, saying I didn't do politics at work -- which really surprised him.

Anyway, when I saw this story, I wondered what he thought about that.
