I have to do a little bragging today.

One of my grandsons got his ACT score today. A perfect 36. He has always been a straight A student and is very mature and responsible. He hopes to go to West Point. We are very proud.

Sounds like we might have a future Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff here. May his future be exceptionally successful.

There were a few of us that got offered appointments at WP.
All the dads, veterans of the Korean War era, put the kibosh on it.
I don't recall why my dad was so against it. But he was.
Good luck to your grandson.

I know how proud I was of my son's scores. They were pretty good, but somewhere south of 36. Hooray to you.

If you are of a mind, show him this thread. I think it would be a boost to him.
He may even think about how cool and 'with it' his granny is.
