The cast; the stars; the guest stars; the cinematography; the scenes of Los Angeles in the 1950's; the cars; the boats; the planes; the trains; the drama; the courtroom scenes; California law; the screenplays; the well scripted dialogue; the direction; the acting; the guns; the knives; the poison; the boats; the villains; the bad guys; the bad women -- murder most foul in almost every imaginable manner and a lawyer to defend those innocently charged.

Perry Mason is one of the T.V. shows in my rotation to have on in the background while I'm on the computer, doing paperwork, etc. I also sometimes go to sleep to it (as well as Columbo).

I love that Perry Mason song.
