South Carolina needs to add a third lane to I-95. I've been told that NC and GA already have one.

SC doesn't. Just two skinny pathetic lanes going north, and two going south.

I would think that I-95 is a main route for delivering drugs north and south. If SC doesn't upgrade I-95, it could cause problems with the supply line, and therefore shortages.

Particularly with you-know-who in the news so much, there will be more of a demand.

And it’s a death trap heavy traffic, including tractor trailer trucks, and the pavement is really rough. On-ramps are still at 1970s standards.

for many years, driving I-95 from NC. I HATED it. Then I took the train for several years, but there's only one and it doesn't arrive until the evening, which means you can't schedule going to an event or anything other than a late dinner.
Last time I went, I avoided I-95 and even though it took longer it was so much more pleasant. Came back on I-95 and wished I hadn't.
Spoleto and hotels have gotten so expensive, I don't think I'll go again.
The oil and auto industry really screwed this country. There should be at least three trains/day traveling the East Coast from DC to Raleigh to Charleston to Savannah to Jacksonville.
