of ol' Horatio in one of the funniest episodes of SPN called Changing Channels.

The removal of the sunglasses, the look, the head angle, the stupid murder pun... it was perfect every time they did it.

As a child I lived within walking distance to 3 movie theaters and saw just about everything. I knew The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, The Shakiest Gun in the West, and The Incredible Mr. Limpet were going to suck even before I saw them. God he was an annoying actor. Heard he was a putz in his personal life.

...I detested the way that character had to act stupid and be manipulative/sneaky in order to get what she wanted.

Add any other female character where the woman had to play dumb or was actually written to be not very bright.

Add Don Knott's portrayal of Barney Fife to my list, and Gomer and Goober. And pretty much anything played by Jerry Lewis.

It often seemed to me that Jerry Lewis was mocking people with physical and intellectual disabilities when he would don his oversized glasses and fake misaligned teeth.

Cousin Oliver on The Brady Bunch is pretty much the archetype for this character. Star Trek: The Next Generation's Wesley Crusher is another example, but he was there from the beginning of the series...yeah, like you're going to let a teenager drive a starship.

As it was a one-off for a skit that didn't go anywhere, but on Mystery Science Theater 3000, which had a human and a robot watch and make fun of bad movies, they did a 1950s cold war, propaganda film, and during one of the skits between watching the movie, they were visiting by an atomic bomb.
