2. Did you get burned? Another way to do so is to suggest that pellucid means clearly, so the phrase means "clearly clear"

I got BLASTED and EXCORIATED about how incredibly rude and thoughtless I was for spoilers, am talking about a string of personal attacks from one person. Never mind that everything was on websites everywhere, because this place and I were the *only* most impermissible ones *ever* !1

But have bitten my tongue ever since when there are scads of posts on SNL cold opens these days.
