I found a very cool watercolor teacher on youtube.

Emily Olson. You can sign up for free. She does demos, tests new products and more. Here's the one she posted this morning:




The above is a real time lesson where she takes you from start to finish. A 30-minute demo that I found really helpful.

I just recently started exploring watercolors. Not an easy medium to work in, that's for sure. But I learn something every time I watch one of her vids. And she's such a cheerful person to boot! She's so upbeat it's contagious.

I don’t want tv very often, and I find I watch YouTube way more often than tv so I pay the small monthly fee to get ad free content.

It is jaw dropping to me how much great art material is on YouTube…so many amazing tutorials in every possible medium…all free…

I think back to the years when I was excited to see Bob Ross on tv even though I didn’t paint with oils because it was at least art instruction.
