(2,488 posts)I can imagine them on display together. Also like the idea of a continuing series of the tool and die area. Love the Pollen Nation and Hole in the Sky or Sky in the Hole!! Pollen is very pretty and refreshing and in Hole you can just feel the cold on your cheeks!

(53,410 posts)I enjoyed perusing your site, and your painting caught my attention so I hung out for a bit. As usual your unique ability to use color stands out.
I really like your Camera Obscura painting too. The fact that youre not trying to make it look realistic just adds to the warm and inviting quality of your paintings. Your choice of a series of paintings of cameras is excellent. It shows that the most mundane objects can be turned into works of art.
Of course I looked at the rest and all your depictions of reflections in water are getting better and more delightful.
Your painting of the brick façade building works very well because it has all the qualities I mention above. You dont use perspective like most people would and the combination of that and the colors make it it unique and interesting. It gives it your personal artistic touch.

(24,006 posts)Hearing positive feedback definitely keeps me going. Lunatica, your comments and observations are so insightful. Are you by any chance, an art teacher? Or an art critic? I really appreciate all your comments.
This is such a great learning experience. Someone suggested I check out Bob Ross vids on youtube. But I'm happy to learn on my own. And I'd rather not paint like him, truth be told. I'm trying to develop my own stye. It may take me longer to get there, but it's a fun ride for sure.
