Need your creative wisdom and vibes for a piece that's resonating with me, but beyond

my current skill level, esp with the drawing.

It’s not my story to tell, just know that it involves a young family and is breaking my heart. I want to do a memory piece, a Mama owl reading to her little one, because it will have meaning to them. Here’s the hardest part, though. I have maybe a month to get it done if they are all to get to see it.

showed some drawing to my life dwg teacher and he said- these are great. do more.

just start sketching.

3. Do you want the owls to be very realistic, or can they be more simplified? If

you want realistic, internet photos are the way to go. If they can be somewhat simplified and 'cartoon-like,' go on Pinterest and look for painted owls. There are plenty of paintings and photos to use as reference.

4. Both the above suggestions are excellent ones

Keep an open mind about how you are choosing to do it and just jump in and do it. In a month you could end up with half a dozen, or more, perfectly good pieces. In the meantime you will have discovered something new about yourself and about art.

What can you possibly have to lose? You’re already an artist, so you can’t lose that.
