I’ve recently been using paper plates which are working pretty well. It’s very easy to hold them in one hand while painting with the other, and after I’m finished painting, the left over colors dry and I can re-use the plates again because the dry paint on them strengthens the plate. So each plate can be used multiple times. And, of course they’re super cheap!

I like your box. It’ll work well since you paint outdoors.

For me, because of my tendonitis I can’t move much equipment. Anything I might want to paint in the outdoors I just take a bunch of photos to get the details and then make up my own version.

put together this little kit. I have that new palette, a collapsible bucket, another brush case, and a few other items if I want to do a larger piece. No outside easel yet, but I've almost always held my work anyway.

More palette pics to come later.
