18. Am working on blind outline drawings today. I'm an impatient

person, so this is a good exercise for me to pay more attention when I observe and slow my eyes down to the speed of my hand.

6. Your hints of lingering presence of people in your

paintings of the beach and the lake are lovely. It conjures up feelings in a way that is far more personal than if you had painted actual people. The experience is intimate, as if the viewer is remembering the joyous and relaxed feelings of warm wellbeing that the experience of Summers near water bring. The objects in your paintings are left behind after being used as proof of great fun and relaxation, waiting to be used again as soon as you return. It’s reminiscent of those times when you were completely one with universe because you’re problems were utterly forgotten in the sense of the now.

Your cityscape is very grand and magnificent and totally charming. It invites you to admire it’s beauty. You are very good at conveying human emotions and a feeling of wonder in your paintings. You do this even when no figures are there. Your paintings are friendly and inviting and actively harmless and non threatening and you feel safe and comfortable and invited into the experience.

I hope I’m making sense. It’s not easy to describe the memory of joy when at the time it was happening you weren’t conscious of it because you and joy were one, indistinguishable from each other.
