Having some issues with a new piece.

I am doing a piece I call "Star Catcher". But am having a hard time trying to find the right material for the net.

I am playing with the concept of the Native American dream catcher, but adding things like the Zodiac symbols.

What I need to do is find a net like material that is strong enough to hold the clay figures I made, yet be wispy to match and blend with the overall look and theme.

Any suggestions on a net like material?

Macrame.
Watched a video about how a spider builds a web. Found it great inspiration for weaving. Have you considered that approach?

Still, just a little worried about the weight of the Zodiac symbols I made with Red Clay. That is the part that worries me the most. Bad enough all the trouble the Scorpio symbol is giving me. I can't count how many times I have had to make one, fire it and have it break right throw the middle! Can't figure out that one at all!

Quite often you can find various weights of used netting at marine salvage yards, I would guess you cold find one online. I know of one in West Palm Beach, Florida, although I couldn't tell the name of it.....Google!
Good luck!
