we used to refer to the "white dots" on the hills.

I am referring to Cornwall area.

Hills are probably 1,500 ft. elevation..... dark green, probably the same emerald green of Ireland. Sheep are high up on the hills and really are white dots.

I like all of it and that you chose to make it a grand picture theme. Your sky takes up half the picture which works well. I really like the effects that active skies bring to a painting. In this case it looks like it may rain or that it’s clearing up after a rain. Skies depict moods. Right now it all looks very serene and gentle, but it puts me in mind that landscapes can change completely depending on the sky.

cloudy sky with strong shadow/sun patterns on the ground, but I got started with the clouds and liked them so much I kept going.
