Allison Mack to be sentenced on June 30 for crimes in NXIVM
NEW YORK Former television actress and high-ranking NXIVM member Allison Mack will be sentenced in U.S. District Court in Brooklyn on June 30 for her crimes in Keith Ranieres cult-like organization.
Mack, 38, was one of eight "first-line" members in Raniere's secret "master/slave" club, Dominus Obsequious Sororium (DOS), in which some women were branded with the initials of the "Vanguard." She is scheduled to be sentenced by Senior Judge Nicholas Garaufis in a proceeding that could be pushed to July 1, court documents stated.
Mack co-starred in the superhero series "Smallville" as Chloe Sullivan, the best friend of Clark Kent. She climbed the ranks of NXIVM and relocated to the Knox Woods townhouse complex off Route 236 in Halfmoon, where more than two dozen Raniere devotees resided. Mack, who was born in Germany, grew up in southern California and lived in Vancouver before she moved to the Capital Region to join Raniere's purported personal growth organization.
Mack's smiling face beamed at Raniere in YouTube interviews produced by the group; she tearfully sang to Raniere at his week-long August birthday celebrations on Lake George, and was with him and other DOS members when Mexican police arrested the guru at a $10,000-a-week villa in March 2018. At that point, DOS had been exposed and Raniere was on the run following public revelations by Sarah Edmondson, a DOS member who told her story to the New York Times in late 2017.
