(71,813 posts)i let the sexual harassment get to me. and i was also stupid enough to think i was just a token.
it was a really good family company, and they had a plan to move me up to management. like an idiot, i thought it was for the a.a. points. they believed in me more than i believed in myself.
i let them lay me off when the job wound down, instead of hanging on in a harder job.
would have been a different life. they built stuff all over the world. they built the sears tower, and big chunks of the deep tunnel.
they were super good to their people.
