shortly after DC fireworks end, 10:15 pm 1776 (1972).
(Will catch them both on TV; a few fireworks near home too.)
The amateur fireworks around here started days ago, but the only ones I want to see (and hear!) are the official ones. In pre-pademic times I might have gone downtown for the big show. I think this evening I will turn to PBS.
