Other than one large bowl, most of my recent projects have been with small scraps of wood-
This is a pencil pot for the wife made from hornbeam:
This is a scratch awl / ice pick made from mesquite:
Match/needle/toothpick case from bradford pear:
A pizza cutter from oak:
A nautical themed pen for a navy friend from an oak branch he recently cut:
And a wireless speaker in maple:
Sad thing is, this hasn't made a dent in the scrap pile.

Oh don't worry, my wife has be busy from September to Christmas.
This past year it was bowls and christmas ornaments. The year before that it was cutting boards and coat racks.
