I made for a birthday gift. I bought a bird cage at a garage sale for $3.00. I talked 'em down from $5.

4. I've taken a recent liking to chicks and hens

Especially since I've discovered the male member growing up there. So I took a nice batch and added them to the cage. Also put sedium around the edges, inside.

We restored vintage bicycles and sell them to loving and caring people. Yours looks as though it might be a vintage bike.

13. To be honest

This is my friend's patio in front of the shop. She's super artsy crafty. I'll get a better picture of her bike when I'm over there. She used the same purple as on the bird cage and then did flowers and shapes using dots of paint. Acrylics. We are going to paint some more bug rocks, soon, too.

Well, in all fairness my hubby does all of the work. He does an amazing job restoring these old rusty bikes. He will enhance the patina on them, sometimes using mica powers as well as the paint.

He has clients who commission him to do customization on their bikes. He really enjoys it thoroughly and loves when the clients are especially impressed with his attention to detail.

Keep me informed when you've posted your friends bike. I am very fond of vintage bikes as you are probably well aware of by now!

I emailed the pic to my hubby and he's pretty sure he knows the maker of the bike. He has become a very informed bike enthusiasts. I hope you'll still get the chance to post the other pic painted like your bird cage/planter!

My hubby could make it into a most lovely bicycle.

We have several tank bikes that he is slowly getting around to fixing up. I would love to own this bike.

25. $50 is all that I would buy it for in its current condition, since it appears it needs a lot of TLC

However, once restored it could be worth double or triple the price.

If I'd had more moola on Sunday, I might have aquired a couple more bird cages. They looked like something your grandma's parakeet may have lived in. Might have worked?

For cages but craft stores like Michael's usually have a selection. The spray paint season is upon us.
