I love BOA and Jim Dandy's vocals...I saw him live one time years back after the original group had broken up...he was still good....Another group I love from kind of the same area is the Ozark Mountain Daredevils. I lived in SW MO for a few years and my parents moved from AR to KS where I was born, but I'm still a hillbilly and proud...

3. I use to listen to Beaker Street on the AM dial back in the day and that's when I first heard of them.............

and a lot of albums that I go into and like................back then listening to the radio bouncing of the sky and going up north coming out of Arkansas...................

Older and greyer like the rest of us, but back. His show is streamed live on Friday nights. Someone in the Beaker Street Facebook group I'm in records them and will post them where they can be listened to at your convenience or downloaded.

2. I had a chance to interview them. The program director was leery of their reputation,

and didn’t want them at the station. So the MCA promo guy suggested doing it at my apartment.
It took some fancy footwork to get out of that without offending the record label.
