A landlord of mine years ago was her manager when she came out with Nick Of Time. I think he might have been mentioned in the line credits. He offered us tickets when she came to Boston but none of us could go (damn!).

I remember a story where she went back to her old apartment in Cambridge and knocked on the door. When the guy opened the door she says something like ‘Hi, my name is Bonnie Raitt. I used to live here.’

That must have been a wild moment!

LOVE Bonnie Raitt and how she has always looked after the old Blues players who never got the recognition or money.

I vaguely remember her having this old guy on stage - I think they called him Mr. Spoons. He sat in a chair and played his spoons. Maybe I’m mis remembering that it was her because I’ve never been able to find a video of this.
