And the bass groove stuck with me - So i'm spending my lunch break finding cool Geezer Butler songs.
Then I notice that YouTube music put this band on the Auto Play list. Never heard of these guys. So of course I hit play

Pretty freaking cool early 70s vibe, and I get why the algorithm put 'em on my play list...
Pescado Rabiosa were a short lived (3 albums in 4 years) Argentinian (Argentine?) heavy rock band.
A trio on this album although they expanded to a foursome when they hired a keyboad player for the next record. This one in fact

They most definately DO NOT suck.
I get happy when I find new bands

(69,890 posts)The first one is ok, and I hear some Wishbone Ash in it.
The second one some elements of BOC in it, too.

(13,425 posts)It would've sounded more like Jon Lord that way, but yeah I can see the comp to 70s era BOC as well.
As soon as I saw the comment about Wishbone Ash, a light bulb defiitley went off. On that song they really do favor Wishbone Ash

Rabid Fish. Cool name.
Something floating in the lagoon.

Something's floating in the lagoon
It has an indefinite shape
And the man who passes by
It drives mad with its rays
By fishing time
All will have been lost
There is a monster in the lagoon
Foolish is he who would cast it
The charity of the universe is false, false
The storm will sweep away nests.
The cause will never cease
From the voice of the legend
For me that the lagoon
Takes out its revenge
