Joey DeFrancesco has died

I'm not a big fan of the jazz organ, but he brought playing to a whole new level. I saw him live at the Detroit Jazz Festival a few years back and it was quite an impressive performance. I wonder if he donated his organs? (Sorry, I just couldn't help myself).

Mentored by Jimmy Smith and played with Miles Davis.
He lived in Phoenix and I used to see him open for bands like Steely Dan.
