Sure was disappointed that William Macy involved in college scandal. Always thought of him as so cool and the show points out many inequities and dem causes.

(42,770 posts)To rewrite end? Agree - hard to imagine without her. But I thought the show was so much better at the start when they were all young and living at home. When Debbie was innocent.

(42,770 posts)Maybe writers run out of ideas. Any show that starts off with people who you can identify with but have quirks seems to always morph into the quirks taking over and the identifying with them as normal goes away. The genius of breaking bad and Ozark first seasons. And downhill from there. But guess there's a natural arc you can't change.

I'm not sure why I should think William Macy would be above all this, but I'm surely disappointed that he wasn't.
