1. I do like the American version but I promise the British version is much better.

2. Yes, just watch last night's ep this morning.

It's in its fourth season and I've seen no appreciable drop-off in quality. I hope it can see at least a good seven seasons before everyone in the house (ahem) gets sucked off

I enjoyed the original UK version as well when CBS was looking for content to cover for the production halt during the strikes. I believe they aired three of the seasons and they produced a couple more after that, so I hope we'll get to see those at some point.

And my grumpy partner, who hates all sitcoms, loves it too.

There was a British version too-- Ghosts UK. It's on Paramount + in the US. I remember seeing an episode at some point and enjoying it. But the US version is great. I like Jay best. He's the clueless one, but he has talent (cheffing).

Interesting because it's very different than all the other CBS comedies. Which all rely on low brow humor accompanied by a laugh track

The writing late last season and early this season has felt a little uneven. That said it is much more suited to my personal sensibilities than those other CBS comedies.

Last night's episode featuring the pantsless ghost was pretty good 👍
