Kari Lake won the U.S. Senate nomination for Republicans as expected on Tuesday, but unofficial results suggest a far narrower victory over Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb than her campaign touted two weeks before voting began.
The Associated Press called the race for Lake at 8:44 p.m., though the scale of her win remained unclear as vote-counting is expected to continue for days.

California resident checking in.
Sorry I'm a bit behind the Arizona primary news, but , now that General Election is just around the corner, I'm thinking about the Senate outcome for Dems.
I'm assuming Mark Kelly will continue serving out his term, since it looks like Shapiro will be Kamala's VP pick, but I hadn't realized Kyrsten Sinema was no longer in the race.
Which means Gallego is the Dem contender who will be running against Lake, correct?
