Related: About this forumwhat to do about vandalized signs that are not mine?
I was so thrilled to see Democratic signs go up at the corner of I-10 and Dragoon Road, and then nauseated to see a large Kari Lake and small Trump sign go up next to them a few days later. well, yesterday I saw that someone had removed the center two of the 4 Dem signs (Harris-Walz and Gallego) that were all mounted on a piece of plywood. pretty sure it was not the wind and two are still up (as of this morning)
Don't know who put them up but it really pisses me off. I can call the Sheriffs office but since they aren't mine...???
I did finally get most of mine up, the regular signs are behind barbed wire and the banner is up on a hill that would take more effort than most idiots would put out (also is so cheap the wind will probably trash it pretty fast, glad I didn't order a bunch of them)
I have a message to county Dems about the vandalism and I think they are going to give me a big 4 x 8 footer to place in view of the interstate. got some solar spot lights for it too.

(10,066 posts)Here in WNC they just are now getting planted everywhere.
What I see as funny, maybe deliberate, is all the trump/vance signs have Robinson signs right next to them on both sides.
Its not illegal to go move them or position them strategically
.is it?
Robinson IS trump/vance, in black face.
Hang that albatross around their necks.
not legal to touch them but placing other signs near? totally fine! I love that!

Write a LTTE.
Remind them that every time a Democratic sign is stolen or defaced, it is replaced with a new one. Someone pays for the replacements. Even if it is our people paying for more signs, that money is going into Democratic coffers. Thank them for their indirect donations.

(31,478 posts)Some of our local Indivisible people have done so through Facebook and other types of social media. Our local paper is a right-wing rag, but they print my letters. I go against the grain locally in this rural part of Illinois, but they know me. People look for my letters. I disagree respectfully and that helps.
