"Whether you want to try world-class dining, party until 4am at historic clubs, spend a day soaking up the sun along Lake Michigan, see iconic artworks or just wander among different neighborhoods, theres never a dull moment to be had (yes, even when winter rolls around)," the report says.
The list, comprised of 53 cities, specifically highlights Chicago's food and beverage scene, naming that as a top reason to visit, noting the city boasts the countrys first-ever Michelin-starred Filipino tasting menu.

(38,726 posts)If you haven't been there, go there. I grew up across the street from "Jackson Park" and watched the
trolleys go by the apartment I lived in. Went to good public schools, went to Navy Pier (U of I in Chicago)...
went to U of I in Urbana , taught in the Chicago Public Schools for 28 years. Seen this and that.
It really is a wonderful city. The beaches along Lake Michigan are great. Maybe 20 or 30 beaches.
Downtown Parks and lots to do and see. Incredible restraints of every kind because of the mixed nature of the
population. Lake Shore Drive is beautiful. Oh also tall buildings you see. and go up in...World class art museum (Art
Institute) So much more. Also, world class public transportation of various kinds. Yep," World Class City.".
